Summary[]
At the prestigious Regarden Magical Academy, Will Serfort stands alone as a "Book Learner": while he wields a strong theoretical understanding of magic, he is incapable of casting spells, earning him bullying from both professor and peer. To get around his lack of magic, he adventures into the dungeon and slays monsters.
One of Will's professor Edward Serfence, humiliates him before the entire class. The bullying continues after class with fellow student, Sion Ulster, but he is quickly stopped by Will's friend Colette Loire. After Will dismisses Colette's concerns about the bullying, the two gaze upon the sky and the tower holding it up.
