Summary[]

The original creator, Fujino Omori, has novelized the prequel to the immensely popular comic series, which is now being adapted into a TV anime!

This story marks the beginning with 'Tears'. Six years ago, it unfolds as the prologue of a first-year student at the magical academy!

"Let's aim to become one of the 'Supreme Magic Wands' together and watch the sunset!"

With this promise in their hearts, Will Serfort and his childhood friend Elfaria Albis Serfort enroll at the Regarden Magical Academy. Along their journey, they encounter various mages. Elfaria's magical talent is quickly recognized, leading to her being scouted by the 'Tower' that oversees the magical world. Meanwhile, Will discovers his lack of magical ability and is separated from his lifelong friend. In his despair, he takes up a sword.

"I will go to the 'Tower'... to where Elfi is."

In a world where magic reigns supreme, the unconventional 'sword' emerges!
This ultimate novelization, revealing the prequel to the beloved comic series, is written by its original creator.[2]
